Surfers Healing does not charge for the camps. The only way they are able to do this is by the generosity of people such as yourselves. This year we have a 2 Day camp which means we will most likely double the amount of attendees. This is great but they cannot do it without our support. 

The expenses are many. Most visible are wetsuits, surfboards, rash guards, life vests and other equipment that must be replaced every season. Food and drinks are provided to the kids and their families. Beach permits, insurance, and administration are other equally important if less visible expenses that we incur.

Surfers Healing is operated on a shoe string budget. Sometimes they are low on gear and volunteers buy their own special boards for the camp to make the day that much more enjoyable for the kids. 

 

 All donations are tax deductible.

Sports memorabilia (with or without signatures)
Arts and crafts representing regional areas
Books relevant to disability issues
Getaway trips
Vacation home stays
Gift cards to national stores/restaurants
College/university apparel to nationally recognized schools
Theme park tickets
